A growing number of people are finding great enjoyment and satisfaction in picking up old V-M hi-fi/stereo/quadraphonic equipment and bringing it back to life. This equipment is from a by-gone era of quality and serviceability that we will probably not see again in this “new this year, obsolete next year” world of ours.
A four speed V-M record changer or phonograph is perfect to play that 16rpm “talking book” record - or Grandma’s 78 rpm records! V-M reel to reels are so well built that generally, they only need a little cleaning up to get going again! Most people can’t believe how good a “tuned up” Model 714, 720, or 722 sounds!
Voice of Music® record changers, phonographs, tape recorders, components and consoles always reflected top notch styling for their time - from the monotone grey and browns of the late ‘40’s, the blonde cabinets of the ‘50’s, the clean lines of the ‘60’s, to the colorful “mod” look of the early ‘70’s - they’re all great fun!
Finally, a great reason to collect is that chances are good that V-M Audio Enthusiasts will have the part you need to get your unit going again - or the knob or other trim part to make it look like new again! Click on Parts & Accessories for more information!
Here is but a small selection of V-M products through the years. If you do not see your model here, don’t worry! I have further information on all V-M models but I do not have the time and megabytes to put them all up on the web. Please click on link to view picture:
